Founders success and thanks.
The Founders wrapped up this past Sunday and this year’s spiel was a great success. While event chairs Jeff and Emily Pike have already thanked the scores of members who helped make everything run so well, I’d like to express my appreciation to both of them for all the hard work they put into the bonspiel. It was their first year running things and they poured themselves into the job. A full draw of teams, great hospitality, outstanding ice — it was another terrific event at PCC.
The events continue at our club with the Women’s All-American underway this upcoming weekend. Many thanks to Brady Gould for running this event — he now has a full draw and a schedule that sees games on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday
Finally, on December 10-13, the USWCA Five-and-Under Challenge will be at our club. This is an open-format event so I encourage all of our members with five years or less of curling experience to enter a team. It’s a great way to test the waters at a more competitive event — put together a team and enjoy the opportunity. Contact Event Chairs Eric Blassneck and Robin Kerr for more information.
