Stephen Colbert Conquers Curling?

It’s an exciting time for curling, and not only because the 2010 Winter Olympic Games are coming up in just a couple of months. Stephen Colbert, host of The Colbert Report on Comedy Central, is on mission to become a member of the United States Olympic Team!

However, this is not proving to be an easy task for him. Olympic Skeleton doesn’t seem to be his event, and if you watched last night you saw that his Olympic Bobsled attempt was slightly less than successful.

Be sure to watch the very end of that bobsled attempt where he announces his next attempt will be at curling!

Will this be the Olympic sport for him? And where is he making this historic tryout? Is that
the ice at the Plainfield Curling Club in South Plainfield, NJ, conveniently located less than an hour from his New York City studio? Why, yes it is!

Be sure to watch an upcoming episode of the The Colbert Report for the next installment of “Stephen Colbert’s Skate Expectations – Kicking Ice And Taking Donations On The Slippery Slope Down The Icy Path To The Frozen Road Up To Vancouver ‘010″.
