Hi. Are there curling competitions for "older" folks, perhpas akin to the Masters program in track and field? Or does everyone compete together (save the Juniors) regardless of age? I am interested in Curling, but hope that age 58 isn't too old to start learning.

Ooooh, too bad it falls right in the gold medal game! If it's the U.S. and Canada, I'll be watching that. Or the U.S. and anyone. Or Canada and anyone. (My wife is Canadian.) But very friendly pitch and nice site. Who knew all these years that this was right in my own backyard.

If you'd like to join the club, be sure to use the form for Membership on our Contact Us page and let us know. If you are coming to our Open House, please let us know on our Open House page.

We'd very much like people considering membership to go through our Learn To Curl program the first week of March to learn enough to compete in league games. New full year members after then get to compete the remainder of our season on a 4-week Instructional League until we meltdown in early April. Then, no more curling until our next season begins in October.

If you can't attend our open house, get to the club any night (7pm-10pm Mon-Sat) during the Olympics and we'll be happy to show you our club and you can watch a league game, but there is no ice time available for drop-ins. You'd need to sign up for the Learn To Curl program if you want to get on our ice this season and can't make the Open House.

There is a Juniors league available. Use the Youth Curling link on our Contact Us page to ask for more info.

Response to our Open House invitation has been overwhelming and we're expecting a tremendous number of visitors that day--probably the most that our club has ever seen before! We'll do our best to get everyone on the ice, but it will be very quick!
