gncc_logo_black_300x298February 21, 2013 kicks off the first draw of the GNCC Mixed Curling Championship and the Plainfield Curling Club is honored to be hosting this year’s event! This 7-team round-robin competition (including several of our own PCC members!) will determine the top 2 teams representing the Grand National Curling Club at the 2013 US Mixed Nationals in Wilmar, MN March 16-23, 2013.

Even if not competing, this is a very exciting opportunity to watch some high level mixed-team competition at our club! A Mixed Curling Team consists of two men and two women and the throwing order must alternate genders. All rules and requirements are described in the 2012-2013 USCA Championship Rules Booklet [PDF] provided by USA Curling.
